Supra is a software tool that generates citations in Bluebook form from sources you supply and checks the citations in documents you upload for form and internal consistency, including order-dependent short forms (id. and supra), footnote cross-references in law review mode, and Table of Authorities generation.
Supra is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Use of the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship. Supra checks citation form; it does not determine whether an authority is valid, current, or good law, does not perform Shepardizing or KeyCiting, and does not verify that a quotation or pincite matches the underlying source unless a feature expressly says so. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy of every citation and every document you file, publish, or rely on, and for complying with the rules of any court, journal, or jurisdiction.
To use the Service you must create an account, providing all required information truthfully. Failure to do so may lead to the suspension or removal of your account.
"Customer Content" means the documents, text, files, URLs, and images you upload or paste into the Service, and the results the Service produces from them.
The Service combines deterministic checks built from published citation rules with AI-based verification. It is designed to be accurate, and each finding identifies the rule it applies so you can verify it. Nevertheless, the Service may miss errors, flag correct citations, or suggest an incorrect form, and the rules corpus it applies may lag behind the most recent edition of a manual or a court's local rules.
You agree that:
You may use the Service only within the scope of these Terms, applicable law, and its intended purpose. You agree that you, your users, and third parties acting through your account will not:
The Acceptable Use Policy protects our customers, our company, and the Internet community from illegal, unlawful, or unethical activity. It covers the Website, https://supralegalai.com/, and the Service.
We reserve the right to terminate, suspend, or delete accounts that breach this policy. We may be required to report unlawful activity to relevant authorities.
The Service is offered on shared infrastructure. All forms of abuse, rights infringement, discrimination, or actions that harm or disadvantage any group, individual, asset, or resource are prohibited. We may charge additional fees, suspend, limit, or terminate your account if we determine that your use violates this policy or places an unreasonable load on the Service.
You are fully responsible for all activity related to your account, including the activity of anyone using your account with your consent and unauthorized use resulting from your failure to keep your credentials secure. By accepting our policies you agree to respect them on behalf of yourself and anyone using your account.
If this policy is breached, we may suspend, terminate, limit, or delete access to the Service, or take any other measure to address inappropriate activity, without notice. No compensation, remuneration, or credit will be provided for such actions unless required by law.
You may not use the Service to create, edit, distribute, or store content that violates copyright law or other applicable law, including trademarks, trade secrets, or intellectual property that is not properly licensed, or content that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful.
You are responsible for all material that is uploaded, input, edited, created, or shared through the Service and for proving authorization for the materials you use. If you believe your copyright is being infringed through the Service, notify us at legal@supralegalai.com or by mail to the address above. We will make a good-faith effort to review the claim and remove infringing content.
You may not use Supra's intellectual property or impersonate our company, Service, or assets. You may not use our name or property to fraudulently or illicitly gain services, user trust, or any advantage.
You may not use the Service to promote, share, distribute, or make available any product, software, or service that violates this policy or other service providers' policies. The Service may not be used for illegal, unethical, exploitative, malicious, or otherwise illicit activity. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
You may not use the Service to evade any duty, right, or law, including obtaining or attempting to obtain services with intent to defraud, access to information about our users, or interference with our facilities and networks. You may not use the Service if you are suspected of or involved in illegal activities or groups supporting such activities.
This policy includes non-exclusive and non-exhaustive lists of unacceptable activities. We may update this policy by publishing a revised version on the Website at https://supralegalai.com/tos.html, effective from the earlier of (1) your use of the Service after publication, or (2) 30 days after publication.
We may modify, update, enhance, or discontinue any part of the Service, including features, functionality, supported citation manuals, or availability, at our sole discretion, with or without notice. We will endeavor to notify you of material changes that significantly affect your use via the Website, the Service, or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you may terminate your account under these Terms.
We strive for continuous access but do not guarantee an uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available Service. We may suspend or limit access for maintenance, upgrades, or other reasons, with or without notice. We are not liable for damages or losses from such interruptions, except as required by law. Do not rely on the Service as your only means of meeting a filing or publication deadline.
Availability. We may offer "Beta Features"—for example, support for a new jurisdiction's citation manual—for testing and feedback, provided "as is" and "as available." We may modify, suspend, or discontinue them at any time without notice and are not obligated to include them in the standard Service.
Notice. Beta Features will be marked with a "Beta" label to distinguish them from standard features.
Use at your own risk. Beta Features may have bugs, errors, or issues causing incorrect results, data loss, or unexpected behavior. Their use is voluntary and at your own risk. We are not liable for damages or loss from Beta Features, except as required by law.
Feedback. By using Beta Features, you agree to provide feedback if requested. Feedback is non-confidential, and we may use it without compensation, subject to our Privacy Policy. Feedback never includes Customer Content unless you choose to share it.
No warranty. Beta Features are provided without any warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We use cookies on the Website and in the Service to make them work. This Cookie Policy is part of our Privacy Policy. It does not cover third-party services' policies, which you should review; a non-exhaustive list of third-party services is in the Privacy Policy. Our cookies do not store sensitive data such as card numbers or passwords. You may refuse cookies in your browser, but the Service may not function without the necessary ones.
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website, used to identify your session and improve your experience. Persistent cookies remain after you close your browser; session cookies are deleted when you close it.
Necessary cookies: enable critical functions such as sign-in, session security, payment processing, and account management.
Functionality cookies: remember settings and preferences within the Service.
Performance cookies: first-party product analytics, described in the Privacy Policy, may record pages viewed and similar usage on the marketing site and in the Service. You can decline or opt out, as that policy explains. We do not use third-party analytics cookies.
We do not use targeting or advertising cookies.
By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data and Customer Content.
The Website, the Service, the rules corpus and validators, the software, and all related intellectual property are owned by Supra, our licensors, or our providers and are protected by intellectual-property law. Customer Content is excluded from this section and remains yours. Users may use the results the Service produces for their own work without restriction.
You must not use our name, logo, or trademarks without written permission. You have no right, title, or interest in the Website, the Service, or their content beyond the limited right to use them under these Terms, which we may revoke for breach.
Materials and information on the Website are for general information and are not comprehensive. We do not warrant their accuracy, results, or reliability, nor guarantee linked websites' content. The inclusion of a link to any other website is not an approval, endorsement, or warranty by Supra.
The Website and the Service are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, except where such disclaimers are not permitted by law. Without limiting the foregoing, Supra does not warrant that any citation generated or checked by the Service is correct, complete, or acceptable to any court, journal, or reviewer.
Our liability for claims related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, or $100 if no payment was made. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, punitive, or special damages, including loss of opportunity, revenue, business, profit, use, goodwill, savings, data, or reputation, or for sanctions, rejected or late filings, malpractice claims, or publication errors, whether under statute, indemnity, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, even if notified of the possibility. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
We take measures to secure data but do not guarantee immunity from unauthorized access or cyberattacks. We reduce risk by collecting minimal personal data and by limiting access to Customer Content. Your data is provided at your own risk, and we provide no warranty beyond what is stated in the Privacy Policy.
Binding arbitration. Except where prohibited by law, any dispute or claim arising out of or relating in any way to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively by final and binding arbitration. The arbitration shall take place in Broward County, Florida, and shall be administered by an arbitration organization mutually agreed upon by the parties. The arbitrator's decision will be confidential and binding and may be enforced by any court with appropriate jurisdiction. By agreeing to these Terms you waive the right to a trial by jury or to participate in any class action, and agree to have any claims decided individually through arbitration.
If any provision of these Terms is found void or unenforceable, it shall be severed to the extent that it is void or unenforceable. The remaining provisions remain in effect.
Failure to enforce a provision does not waive our rights. Waivers must be in writing and signed by us.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights or obligations under them without our written consent. We may assign these Terms freely to any affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or by operation of law.
Notices to you may be given via the Service, by email to the address on your account, or within your account. Notices to us should be sent to legal@supralegalai.com or by mail to the address above.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Consumers in the European Union, or in any other jurisdiction with higher mandatory consumer-protection standards, retain the benefit of those standards.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any documents referenced in them, constitute the entire agreement between you and Supra and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, understandings, negotiations, and discussions, whether written or oral. Modifications must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Supra.
